DELI LITES was started by husband and wife entrepreneurs, Brian and Jackie Reid, more than 20 years ago and have grown to become a leading ‘Food to Go’ manufacturer with a wide range of customers throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and further afield. With customers ranging from convenience stores, major supermarkets, frozen foodservice, hospitality and tourism venues, travel sites and major coffee chains. Their range of superior quality products includes gourmet sandwiches, wraps and salads along with an impressive range of Hot Eats which – thanks to innovative technologies – are able to maintain optimal freshness and are exported to customers in international markets. DELI LITES also boast a state-of-the-art production facility with Grade AA BRC Accreditation.
DELI LITES strong brand presence has helped them build a reputation for delivering quality innovative solutions to the marketplace which also led to being awarded ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ at the British Sandwich Association’s Sammies Awards for 2021. Through their innovation, they have developed and launched an award-winning artisan bakery range, plant-based brand Kitchen Vegilantes, and heat-to-eat brand Planet Cafe. These are an extension of the DELI LITES brand and maintain the same core values of delivering a product that is full of quality and personality. Their truly artisan products have won recognition throughout the trade. In 2021, their Vegan Chickpea Curry won a Blas na hEireann Silver award. The Vegan Onion Bhaji Bento Box also picked up a Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards while the Gourmet Pulled Ham Hock Tósta was awarded an Irish Quality Food Award.
Brian and Jackie and their team attach significant importance to corporate responsibility and the business is currently on course to achieve B Corp certification and to be carbon neutral. They aim to be recognised as a global Employer of Choice and to continue to have strong, sustainable footholds around the world.
